Blue Ribbon Grill

First time here. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. The country fried Steak was great! The biggest surprise wins were the Spinach and the Blackberry cobbler. Our waitress was Shonda, and was very nice and on-point! 5-Stars all around. I think this is our new favorite comfort food place! Also, they are open late.

First time visiting the new location. I liked the fresh new look with 2 shades of "blue ribbon" painted walls and the prominent leaded glass inserts and some wall decor brought over from the old location. Perhaps regulars of the old location will be disappointed that it doesn't have the same vibe as the old original restaurant, but what does? The menu is much the same and quality of the food is as good as it was at the old location. I was very happy to learn they had just added more entrees to the "brunch" menu including the well-known meatloaf, chicken pot pie, country fried steak and shrimp and grits. The food was excellent and the service was good. We had meatloaf and chicken pot pie, both of which were fabulous. However, in fareness, I'll have to say the peach cobbler was nothing special, but like all things, there's always room for improvement. I will be back to try the shrimp & grits another day.

I was eating dinner Friday night here. Our experience was fantastic. The food was great. Admittedly, the new location needs some adjusting on decor and ambiance but the staff let me know that was still a work and progress and changes were being made to it. I believe after some time, they will get it back to feeling inviting. Although, while I was there I witnessed the rudest customers I have ever seen in my life. The general manager, (Crystal), dealt with these terrible customers with such class and grace. I watched as these particular guests yelled, cursed, and demeaned the staff. Crystal tried her best to approach the situation with kindness and de-escalate. But sometimes the customer is not always right and the way these 3 people were treating the staff was deplorable. Crystal maintained her composure, while also not allowing her or her staff to be treated like doormats. I am beyond impressed with the way that she handled it, even up to the point she had to tell them to leave. Those customers were horrible people and I wanted to come on here and praise the way that GM handled such terrible people. She showed them respect even though they did not deserve it, while still drawing a line and protecting her staff. For that alone, I will be a permanent fan and returning guest of Blue Ribbon Grill. I am sorry they had to experience that from those people! The food was outstanding! The customer service was phenomenal! That manager needs a raise and a round of applause! We definitely will be coming back!

Went for an early dinner this evening and food was awesome. Service was great as well. Had the large chicken finger plate, French onion soup, and soup of the day (clam chowder). Everything was excellent and arguably even better than at the original location. So glad BRG reopened/relocated. Will continue to get better as they get their beverage license in coming days. Excited for this great staple to be back

Food is good and the cocktails are even better! Very pleasant atmosphere, they have worked on the lighting and you can actually carry on a conversation without yelling across the table. Local owners who live in the neighborhood they feed. Check out the breakfast

I had the pleasure of visiting the new location this past Saturday, and I must say, it was an impressive experience! The food was outstanding, and the service was commendable, especially considering they’ve only been open for two weeks. My wife, daughter, and I decided to order some classic staples from the menu: the meatloaf, chopped steak, and fish and chips. Each dish was fantastic—perhaps even better than what we enjoyed at the old location! While the food was exceptional, I did miss the "charm" that characterized the old location. However, I’m optimistic that with time, the ownership will enhance the atmosphere to match the quality of their dishes.

Charlene was a fantastic server. She recommended the Meatloaf, which I have had before and it is delicious. But, today I opted for the French Onion Soup which is second to none. I really love the new location and the service has gotten better at the new location. Well worth the trip.
